Anshun Science and Technology Development Co. Ltd. in Zhangjiagang city, Jiangsu, has just managed to develop an anti-virus product--charcoal anion non-woven fabric. This kind of non-woven fabrics which is mainly made of polyester staple fiber, is able to eradiate infrared ray and oxygen anion, so that it is bacteriostatic and anti-virus. As is proved by authorities, this kind of fabrics can eliminate up to 94% of staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli and pseudomonasaeruginosa, etc., and can be used in medical protective products, such as surgical mask and insulating clothing, and also can achieve an anti-virus function, for example, influenza A (H1N1).
