Mr. Liu Kunpeng, Vice President of Xinjiang Ruyi Textile & Garment Co., Ltd. delivers his report of Towel sales/production status and yarn consumption tendency


Mr. Liu divides his report into 5 parts.

1. Brief introduction of Shihezi, Xinjiang and Xinjiang Ruyi. Shihezi is a critical hub city in “Silk Road” economic belt core area. Shihezi is an important window for the opening up of Xinjiang?Uygur?Autonomous Region and XPCC. Shandong Ruyi acquired Xinjiang Tiansheng Industry Co., Ltd. in May 2015, to set up Xinjiang Ruyi Textile and Garment Co., Ltd. Various products have been sold to U.S., Europe, Japan and other countries in the past 2 years.

2. Towel characteristics and requirement for yarn quality. First, introduce towel products, process of towel production, towel classification by technology. Second, he talks about basic requirement for yarn, including yarn strength, yarn quality and yarn hairiness.

3. Towel sales/production status. China is top one towel exporter worldwide as the export volume occupies more than 40% of world’s total, followed by India, Pakistan, Turkey, Portugal and Vietnam. The growth in India is significant in recent three years.

4. Consumption tendency change of yarn for towel. Features are as below: 1. Cotton yarn still dominates.
2. It’s difficult for regenerated fiber and chemical fiber to break through. 3. Low twist yarn will be widely used. 4. High-count yarn will be accepted. 5. Functional yarn and fancy yarn are popularizing.
