Bangladesh garment exports to non-traditional market fell in Jan-May

Bangladesh readymade garments exports to non-traditional markets fell by 6.61% in Jan-May of this fiscal year, and the export value reached $2.4 billion, with $2.24 billion in same period of last year, the Financial Express of Bangladesh reported on Dec 18. Non traditional market refers to Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, India, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, South Africa and Turkey except traditional export destinations, such as EU, US and Canada.
