IMF raises China's growth forecast for 2023

The International Monetary Fund has raised its forecast for China's economic growth to 5.2 percent in 2023, up 0.8 percentage points from its projection in October, according to a newly released update to its World Economic Outlook report.

It said China's recent reopening has paved the way for a faster-than-expected recovery.
