Foreword: Methanol, as an important chemical feedstock, has witnessed rapid development in China. However, with the country’s increasing awareness of environmental protection, methanol capacity growth has slowed down obviously in recent years. Some small-sized companies are faced with being eliminated or reorganization, while some medium to large-sized companies are extending business to downstream sectors, signaling that integrated plants could be the future development trend.
