On March 17th, the resumption ceremony of major projects and aid projects in Shaya County in 2023 was held at the construction site of Dawn Group BDO Project in Circular Economy Industrial Park of Shaya County.

It was reported that the construction period of the Dawn Group BDO project is 20 months, with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan. After completion, it is expected to produce 100,000 tons of BDO per year, achieve a total industrial output value of 1.5 billion yuan, and provide more than 300 employment opportunities.

On Jul 25, 2022, in Aksu Investment Promotion Service Center of Xinjiang, Dawn Group successfully signed a contract with Shaya County to produce 100kt/year of BDO. Dawn Group plans to invest 200kt/year of BDO and 100kt/year of spandex projects in Shaya County, which inherits natural gas and other superior resources, followed by biodegradable plastics, high-grade textiles and clothing and other emerging fields. The project will be completed in two phases, and the successfully signed 100kt/year BDO project belongs to the first phase of the project.
