According to China Customs, uncarded PSF exports of China were 104.8kt in Jan, 2023, an increase of 36.8% year on year, and in Feb, the exports reached 89.1kt, up 53.3% year on year. The monthly exports have increased apparently compared with the same period of last year, and the highest since 2019.

In Jan-Feb, 2023, uncarded PSF exports of China totaled 193.9kt, up 43.9% year on year, and up 35.78% from the same period of 2019. In 2020, the exports were impacted by the epidemic and reached a low of 108.7kt in the first two months of 2020, and in 2023, the exports recovered by 78.4%.

Vietnam remained the largest export destinations in Jan-Feb, 2023, with a volume of 25.36kt, taking a proportion of 13.08%. Pakistan was the second largest place, with a volume of 24.07kt, accounting for 12.41%.

Since 2021, China’s PSF exports have continued to increase. On one hand, the supply in China rises, making plants explore overseas markets. On the other hand, China’s PSF has price edge. In 2023, the supply pressure remains large in China, and PSF plants will continue to seek for exports. Exports are expected to recover further.
